Personal Care Additives
Landec’s Intelimer Polymer® is now used as an ingredient in over fifty personal care products – and this number continues to grow. Landec has an exclusive partnership with Air Products and Chemicals, Inc, which manufactures Intelimer personal care additives for use in sunscreens, color cosmetics, anti-aging creams, hair care, and acne prevention products. In March 2011, Air Products introduced the jointly developed Deposilk Q1™ Polymer at the In-Cosmetics Show in Milan, Italy as a superior, all-purpose and multi-functional material. As Deposilk Q1 makes its way through the regulatory and commercialization process, Landec believes it will form the basis for a pipeline of new products for the future.
